Beeson's Beautiful Beads

Exeter Fine Crafts is pleased to present Kathy Beeson as our April Artist of the Month. Come in and meet Kathy in the shop to talk about her work and process on Saturday, April 9th from 11-2pm.

From her studio in southern Maine, Kathy creates handmade lampwork glass beads using colorful glass rods and a specialized torch for use by glass workers that is fueled by a propane and oxygen gas mixture. She then transforms these one of a kind beads into gorgeous necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. Capitalizing on a wide range of vibrant glass, she enjoys the interplay between shape and color. Kathy often incorporates other elements into her jewelry pieces such as peyote stitch. Please come in and enjoy the vibrant jewelry designs of Kathy Beeson!
